THE SCIENCE OF GOD AND ITS POWER TO HEAL
Nikki O’Hagan, a Christian Science Practitioner and member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, will give a talk open to all called The Science of God and its Power to Heal Us on Sunday, March 22, at 3 PM, at the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Mobile, Alabama (944 Conti Street, 36604). The talk will explain Jesus’ teachings and healings, giving us new understanding of God and enabling us to leave behind a mistaken and distorted view of ourselves. Childcare will be provided. Regardless of your current religious affiliation—or even if you have none—a Christian Science lecture offers a meaningful opportunity to discover how to experience more of God’s healing presence in your life. Drawing on insights from the Bible and illuminated by Christian Science, these talks explore practical, spiritual truths that can bring comfort, clarity, and renewal.
Public lectures presented by members of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship create a welcoming space for the spiritual seeker in all of us to learn, grow, and experience healing. Rooted in the Bible and the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, these talks explain the spiritual laws that underlie Christ Jesus’ works of physical and mental healing.
They also explore the transformative ideas found in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Eddy, showing how its message remains relevant and applicable today.
These lectures are delivered by a diverse, international group of speakers who serve on behalf of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. Each lecturer is an experienced practitioner of Christian Science healing, representing a wide range of cultures, backgrounds, and languages—united by a shared commitment to helping others discover the healing power of divine Love.
